Assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies using technical drawings, specialized tooling, and written directions.

Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.

• Assembles complete hydraulic and pneumatic valves and valve components per blueprints and assembly instructions.

• Perform seat preparations (burnishing, coining, and cleaning) with minimal supervision per the applicable work instruction.

• Apply sealants and other chemicals as needed.

• Maintain accurate parts and part count for each job.

• Operate small hand and power tools.

• Maintain all hand tools in clean, working condition.

• Familiarity with proper fixtures and tooling required.

Qualification Requirements Education/Experience • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); no prior experience or training.

Language Skills • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write in simple correspondence.

Math Skills • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Skills • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer/ Office Skills • Basic windows/internet

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
